A History of Excellence

Born and bred in Chester County, Pennsylvania, Dr. Wingate graduated from Vanderbilt University with a B.A. in Neuroscience and earned his doctorate of medicine from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. He is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

During medical school, Dr. Wingate received the Gold Humanism Honor Society Award (GHHS) as part of a national network that recognizes medical practitioners who are role models for the human connection in healthcare.

Following medical school, Dr. Wingate was accepted into the prestigious integrated residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Rochester Medical Center, Strong Memorial Hospital. During his residency, he was awarded the resident research award and served as Chief Resident.
