Your Skin, Beautifully Transformed

Microneedling is a cosmetic treatment that uses controlled injury to rejuvenate your face. Also referred to as Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT), it triggers your skin’s natural repair mechanisms by creating tiny injuries in the treatment area.

  • Improve overall skin texture and tone
  • Stimulate collagen production
  • Reveal your healthiest and most radiant complexion
  • Reduce acne scars
  • Minimize wrinkles
  • Shrink large pores

Your Treatment Experience: What to Expect

Your microneedling treatment can take place in the comfort of our Malvern office. To begin, we will apply an anesthetic to the surface of your skin to keep you comfortable. Then, we will move the microneedling device evenly across your skin, creating microscopic injuries in the treatment area. To enhance your results, we may combine your microneedling with platelet-rich plasma, topical gels, creams, and serums.

After Your Treatment

There is little to no downtime after microneedling. Your skin may be irritated and red for a few days, but it won’t prevent you from going to work or school. Your skin will quickly begin generating fresh tissue in response to the injured area and you should see your results within a couple of weeks.

Pre & Post Procedure Guide

Microneedling vs. Laser Skin Resurfacing Which One is Right for You?

Both procedures are safe, effective, and non-surgical ways to correct signs of aging, such as scarring, uneven skin tone, texture issues, fine lines, wrinkles, and more. In general, we recommend microneedling if your goal is to achieve vibrant, youthful skin overall. Conversely, if you want more dramatic aesthetic results, laser skin resurfacing may be in your best interest.

Microneedling Frequently Asked Questions

How many microneedling sessions will I need?

It depends on your goals and skin quality. Most of our patients need multiple sessions for optimal results.

How is microneedling different from microdermabrasion?

Both of these treatments improve your skin texture and quality, but microdermabrasion does so without needles. Instead, it uses a rough texture to exfoliate the outer layers of your skin. Microneedling treats the tissue beneath the surface of your skin, so the results are more substantial.

What treatment areas are appropriate for microneedling?

The most popular microneedling treatment areas are the face, neck, and chest.
