The Treatment Experience: What to Expect

To begin, we will draw a small amount of your blood, separating and heating the plasma to use for the procedure. We will then combine your body’s platelet-rich fibrin (PFR) with a protein in the blood called albumin. This creates a gel-like filler that is rich in growth factors and regenerative capabilities. Once the gel is injected beneath the skin, it creates a scaffolding effect to produce new collagen and elastin, ultimately revealing smoother, younger-looking skin. Most PRF EZ injection appointments last just 30 to 60 minutes.

After your PRF EZ injections, you may experience mild tenderness, bruising, and swelling in the treatment area. However, these effects are short-lived and should improve within a few hours. You can return to work and resume most of your normal daily activities immediately after your appointment.

You will notice more youthful and defined facial contours within a few days. However, these results will continue to improve over the next few months as your body produces new collagen and elastin. To maintain your new, youthful appearance, we usually recommend maintenance treatments every six to nine months.

How is the gel created?

We create the PRF EZ gel using your own blood, which we process in a centrifuge to create a concentrate of platelets and growth factors. We then mix this concentrate into a gel form so we can inject it beneath your skin. Once the gel is in place, it stimulates healing, collagen production, and regeneration.

How long do PRF EZ results last?

You can expect your refreshed and rejuvenated appearance to last for several months and as long as one year. To maintain your new appearance, we usually recommend touch-up injections every six to nine months.
